Abstract:

Political, economic, cultural and social confusion of the world of Islam alongside the undisputed onset of the western countries has resulted in different reactions in the world of Islam. One of these reactions is the growth and dissemination of Sa'lafi Conviction. This belief that has been derived out of a set of thoughts of Hana'bele, Khavarij and Wahabiyat is known as an anti-reasoning movement among Muslims, because by relying their thoughts on the superficiality of Ketab and Sonneh, they deny any rational, philosophical and theosophical  tendencies. According to Salafi social thought, the desirable way of reign is the way of reign in the early years of Islam and that of Omavi and Abbasi reigns. In this belief democracy, election and the like concepts  them are considered obscure and anti-Islamic. Salafi movement, the phenomenon that claims they are the only true Muslims, through combination of other Islamic and non-Islamic groups justifies and legitimize their violent behavior towards them.

Taliban is one of these Salafi groups that has emerged in the turbulent situation of Afghanistan and with the unsparing help of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and the United States in the present century. Absolutism, superficial thoughts and excessive interpretation of Islam by Taliban has driven them towards violence and extravagant pragmatism that has caused the worldwide anger and abhorrence and has incapacitated them in handling Afghanistan. Another important Salafi movement in contemporary Islam is Al-qaede-an  organization that has been created as a defense against Russian attack on Afghanistan and through unsparing help of the United States, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. The conviction of this organization that was ruled by Bin-Laden consists of disregarding rationality in understanding religious texts and emphasis on superficial conclusion of Sharia. These  sets of beliefs that has originated from the beliefs of Seyed Ghotb and Wahabiyat, put too much emphasis on the verses about Jihad and considers intimidation or terror  as the most important thing typifying Jihad. Al-qaede members think of armed (warlike) battle as the only way to achieve their goals, and in order to do this, they have carried out different suicide attacks to impair their enemies and attaining their goals. The members of this organization are all from Sonni religion and from different nationalities. After the September 11 attack, they were devastated by the US and the  members of these two organizations were scattered away in different countries and are awaiting  a time to revive their organization.
