The Islamic Republic of Iran on the bases of its Islamic Revolutionary ideals and its own targets is responsible for supporting all the Muslims of the globe . The foreign manner of the Islamic Republic of Iran versus Afghanistan indicates the importance of that country for Iran. Herein the case study of the foreign policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran versus Afghanistan could attract much attention . In this dissertation, in addition to dealing with the background relations of these  two countries , the foreign policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran versus Afghanistan after Taliban’s collapse has been attempted to investigated . It is necessary to pay a close attention to the internal and external environment of this country (Whether regional or international) and understands the policy makers of the structure of the international system upon their policy-making in the countries of which the the Islamic Republic of Iran is not an exception in this viewpoint.

In this dissertation, after a brief survey of theoretical discussions of foreign policies , the foreign survey of theoretical discussions of foreign policies , the foreign policies of the Islamic Republic versus the other Islamic countries has been surveyed . And the manner of the foreign policies of Iran’s system versus Afghanistan has been discussed . Although the Islamic Republic of  Iran in has changed its foreign manner, it hasn’t declined from its principles in this field . So the reasons on which it has supported Afghanistan , are as follow

1.The religious ideology and responsibility

2.paying attention to cultural , political , lingual , economical and religious in common in these two countries

3.National interests

4.Direct in flounce of political and social evolutions of Afghanistan upon the national security of Iran

In this dissertation it has been pointed to the approach which enables to interpret the foreign manner of the Islamic Republic of Iran . One of them is the theory of post behaviorism which has been used to interpret the foreign policies of the Islamic Republic versus Afghanistan.

In the end , several strategies in order to promote the foreign policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Afghanistan have been identified to recognize the opportunities and the threats . And also the way how to change the counter-opportunities into the opportunities according to the instruments of using the hegemony of Iran on Afghanistan.
