This dissertation tends to study different aspects
of the policies of the American neo-conservatives. The main considered
issues in this study can be categorized as follows: the foreign policy
intensives, the origins of neo-conservatives, the history of their rise,
their principles, their ties to the Zionist regime, and their plans to
attack Iran.
In 1930, Neo-conservatism appeared in US which was a
link between social conservatism and economic liberalism. In later
decades they have strengthened their ideas and the empowerment of George
w. Bush gave them a unique opportunity to apply their policies and
embody their thoughts. Thus they managed to promote their thought among
US politicians and adjust their interests to the American national
interests.
Neo-conservatism enjoys a radical and violent
attitude and believes in supremacy rather than the balance of power.
According to this school of thought the manner of each state is a
reflection of the essence of its government. Thus in order to change the
manner, the government should be changed.
Neo-conservatives have keen ties to Israel and try
hard to minimize her threats. They also have a hard agenda for Iran and
declared their clear intentions for regime change and even invasion.
The policies of the neo-conservatives toward Iran
have gone through lots of changes. They showed maximum hostilities just
after the collapse of Sadam Hussein and the second term of Bush. Their
hostile actions might be reduced but before the 2008 elections they try
to accomplish the job and smash Iranian nuclear capabilities. However
the proper policy making in Iran and the domestic resistance in US
against opening a new crisis in the area have blocked these efforts so
far.
