Abstract:
Up to occurance of Islamic revolution of Iran,
therole ideological and culrural elements, especially religious cultur
in creating revolutionary developments has been meglected by neglected
by theoricians of social revolutions. In the light of Islamic revolution
of Iran considerable development came out in theorizing revolution.
Balancing strucral theories of revolution,
formulating fourth generution of revolution theories (theories related
to revolutions of thirdworld countries). Presenting some post modem
descriptions of revlution and more importan creating cultural approaches
in describing revolition are most important effects of Islamic
revolution of Iran of on revolution theories. The comman part of these
effects can be mentioned as importance of elements like culture,
religion, ideology and leadership " The peak of this einfluence can be
seen in formulating cultural approaches; Approaches which despite of
inattention ofmost revolution theorists to the role of culture and
ideology in stablishing revolution, see these elements not of the
revolution factors but see them the most important factor. Cultural
approaches on Islamic revolution of Iran unlike other approaches arenot
based on theories on revolutionrather they are theorical consequences of
Islamic revolution on revolution theories. Cutural approaches first of
all see the will necessary for occuring every revolutionary movement and
belive that revolution in coming in to existence, publi cization,
continiuence and achiving it's goals depends on the people's will not on
strutural features of society or position of international system or
even competition of rival political groups. Second: cultural approaches
belive mental conditions and human belifes as main factor of change has
limited influence of for mulation of changes that human follow them.
Thied; The main factor ofmental and sensual change
of Iranian nation was "shiite Islam" which by expansion and
publicization of this fundamental change, Islamic revolution as
reprodution of it was formulated. Thus cultural analysts of Islamic
republic of Iran belive cultural and mental efforts of muslim thinkers
especially sniite clergies, also some of religious intellectuals, for
presenting a correct image of Islam which throught history had been
misled from one side and acceptance of real islam by Iranian people an
upgrading Islamic belifes during decades befor triumph of Islamc
revolution from other side have been main factors in stablishing Islamic
revolution.
