By considering this fact that saffron is an
important item of Iranian non- petroleum exports and also as an
agricultural product which has an increasing added value, it should,
there fore, be considered attentively.
Our country produces 90% out of the whole volume of
world's saffron production. The capacity and the potential of our
country in agricultural and industrial sectors increase the possibility
of more production and also the increase of the saffron exports.
One should also consider that production is not the
only means of development. There are many factors which can influence
directly or in directly on the development or failure of this industry.
In recent years, many internal and external factors
have affected the export of saffron and also the importance of saffron
in non-petroleum exports; this research tends to analyze the significant
factors which influence on the export of this product.
The purposes of this research are:
1. Analyzing significant factors of saffron
export marketing in order to recover and to develop saffron industry in
Iran.
2. Surveying the effective factors on the
industrial and national environment of Iran's saffron export marketing.
According to the results of this research, the
following factors can influence saffron export marketing:
1. Observing international modern marketing
methodology by exporters.
2. National environment factors.
3. Industrial environment factors.
