Abstract:

One of the main goals in any country is certainly achieving sustainable development in all fields such as agriculture, industry and services. Since the major agricultural and livestock activities is done in rural areas, villagers have an important role in the development of the agricultural sector and economic development. Hence financing  the poor villagers and supporting them seems to be necessary.

The use of microfinance services to support the rural society in contrast with finance problems is one of the new subjects that followed by the World Bank. The feasibility study of the establishing the independent Islamic microfinance institution in Iran to support rural society in achieving to finance sources is the subject that we follow in this research.

In this research, using library and field  studies, the current situation of microfinance services in supporting the rural society of Iran in achieving to finance sources is considered and the feasibility of the quantitative and qualitative development solutions of these methods through establishing an independent institution named the Islamic microfinance institution is studied.

The results of the research represent the fact that establishing of the independent Islamic microfinance institution in Iran that can respond to financial needs of rural society is economically and legally feasible
