Abstract:

With due attention to this fact that corruption is a world problem today; and no country is secure from the destructive results of corruption, discussion about measures that can prevent from corruption or in case of being occurred , the perpetrators are punished and damages are compensated is most important.

to opposite  corruption as a criminal phenomenon ,we can present two main measures based on criminal policy view.

Firstly; restoring to preventive measures that can be effective in creating a corruption-free environment, In fact discussion about this is the main subject of this research.

Secondly; restoring to punitive measures. In general classification, preventive measures that are applied in opposition of corruption are divided into social prevention and situational prevention.

In social prevention, based on this reasoning that the most important social agent of corruption is ignorance about the nature and committing causes and destructive results of corruption, and ignorance about the combating methods of corruption, those measures are argued that can increase public awareness about corruption and methods against it, and this causes that civil society citizens personally avoid corrupted manners.

In situational prevention, based on this reasoning that the most important situational agent of corruption is non-transparency, those measures are argued that strengthen transparent structures like supervision, documentation and answering, and destroy vague structures that cause corruption.

Finally; there are some suggestions that could be applicable to the prevention of corruption.
